Any questions?

Look out for signs that your child is struggling with day to day tasks or lacks attention and focus. Have you noticed difficulty in gross motor skills like walking and sitting or fine motor skills like holding a pencil properly? Is there a sensory challenge where the child does not like certain sounds, or keeps repeating some sounds? Do they cry too much during simple tasks like cutting nails or a haircut? These should be seen as red flags and a professional should be consulted.

Intervention can be started as soon as a developmental delay has been diagnosed. Our specialists have worked with children in the field of occupational therapy from the age of 2 years onwards.

Depending on the severity of the issue and exact requirements, our specialists can give an estimate of how many sessions may be needed. Visible positive results may take anywhere between 16 to 48 sessions. This number may vary depending on the child’s progress.

We understand your concern. Initial sessions are aimed at teaching the child how to sit and focus, and then the specialists work on other areas. For very young children, the sessions also train parents to guide them on ways that they can help their child achieve different developmental milestones. Our specialists take time to know your child thoroughly before beginning sessions. They customize content based on each child’s needs to keep sessions fun and your child engaged. While building a rapport between the child and therapist takes a couple of sessions, once done, you will definitely see progress.

Most sessions with our specialists involve a lot of interactive games and activities with the child. While being fun and engaging, these exercises are aimed at targeting specific problem areas that have been identified. The therapist will also demonstrate appropriate interaction styles and exercise protocols that parents can follow so that development milestones can be met.
